How do I book a session with Donna?

Send the inquiry form with your date and session type. Donna replies within two business days with availability and pricing. A signed agreement and retainer reserve your date.

How much does a photography session cost?

Portrait sessions start at [starting price] and wedding collections start at [starting price]. Branding and event coverage is quoted to fit your needs.

What areas do you serve?

Donna is based in the East Valley and photographs sessions in Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, Queen Creek, Tempe, San Tan Valley and across the Phoenix area. Travel beyond the Valley is available.

How far in advance should we book a wedding photographer?

Most couples book 9 to 12 months ahead. Spring and fall are the busiest seasons in the East Valley, so popular Saturdays fill first. Weekday and summer dates often have more flexibility.

What is narrative or documentary style photography?

It tells the story of your day or your family through real moments instead of stiff poses. Donna gives gentle direction when it helps, then lets genuine interactions happen and captures them as they unfold.

What happens if it is too hot or it rains?

Donna watches the forecast and reschedules portrait sessions for rain, dangerous heat or monsoon storms at no charge. Summer sessions are planned for early morning or the hour before sunset.

When should my senior take senior photos?

Most seniors book in the summer or fall of senior year, which leaves time for yearbook deadlines and graduation announcements. Book at least six weeks before your school’s yearbook deadline.

What should we wear for photos?

Choose a soft palette of two or three colors that work together rather than matching outfits. Earthy neutrals, cream, denim and muted tones look beautiful in desert light. Donna sends an outfit guide after you book.

How and when are photos delivered?

Your photos arrive in a private online gallery where you can download, share and order prints. Portrait galleries are delivered within [number] weeks and wedding galleries within [number] weeks.
